This lovely large round teapot inspired by moon jars and my passion for carving..it has 16 facets cut in the lower half, a fine , wide handle, and a very simple spout and lid.
It is finished in a smooth white glaze that has a really natural stone surface to it , and has been lined with a cream gloss glaze
It holds 1500ml, pours evenly , but also stands alone for its sculptural interest.
it would match very well with any of my tea bowls or mugs…
It is a unique piece , hand thrown , turned , glazed and fired to 1220 degrees .

It’s best to wash it by hand..
