Large Cream White Basin
This magnificent , large, very simple basin was inspired by the ancient world. It has two parallel lines running around the inside rim. It is finished in a simple flowing , stone-like cream glaze , that has pooled beautifully in the base , making glassy crackle patterns.
It could be combined with the very large cream Jug with looped handle to make a traditional wash stand…or as a simple table centrepiece, or fruit bowl….
Height 13m x 28cm width including the handle..
This piece was hand thrown on the wheel, turned, bisqued, and glaze fired to 1240 degrees, and it is one of a kind
